It's a fantastic opportunity for families in Sutherland Shire to have their child car seats professionally inspected and fitted. While the checking service is free, please note that any replacement parts will incur a charge.

The checks will take place on Saturday, 22 August 2026, from 08:30 to 14:00. The fittings are held at Level 1 of the Gymea Tradies undercover carpark, a convenient and sheltered location.
Professional council staff will be on hand to assist with the installation and answer any questions about child restraint safety. Please be aware that photos or videos may be taken during the event for use in council publications and social media; if you prefer not to be included, simply inform a staff member on the day.
