What to Expect
Get ready for an exciting and energetic skateboard coaching experience designed especially for children aged 6 to 12. Whether your child is a beginner or has some skateboarding skills, these clinics run by Beyond Skate offer a supportive environment to learn and improve. Skateboards and helmets are provided free of charge if you don't have your own, making it easy to join in the fun.
Each session is packed with friendly coaching, skill-building activities, and plenty of opportunities to practice in a safe setting. Parents can relax nearby with chairs or picnic blankets while watching their kids enjoy the action.
Remember, registration is essential for each date you want to attend, and spots are limited to ensure quality coaching.
Activity Details
The clinics run on Tuesdays during school terms from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Sessions are held at three different skate parks across Cockburn on specific dates:
- Coolbellup Skate Park: 3, 10, 17 February
- Walliabup Skate Park (Bibra Lake): 24 February, 3, 10 March
- Spearwood Skate Park: 17, 24, 31 March
Participants should bring sunscreen, water, and any refreshments or food they might need. The clinics are suitable for children aged 6 to 12 years, catering to both beginners and intermediate skateboarders.
Location and Access
The clinics take place at three accessible skate parks:
- Coolbellup Skate Park located at Len Packham Reserve, corner of Cordelia Ave & Tybault Place
- Walliabup Skate Park at Bibra Drive, Bibra Lake, opposite the primary school
- Spearwood Skate Park on Rockingham Rd, Spearwood, near Troode Street
All locations offer free parking and accessible features including ACROD parking. The available maps include voice and accessible color options to assist visitors.
Important Information
Please register on the day or online for each session you wish to attend, as spaces are limited. Skateboards and helmets are available for those who do not have their own equipment.
Parents are encouraged to bring chairs or picnic blankets for comfort while watching. Sunscreen and water are essential to keep everyone safe and hydrated during the sessions.

Booking and Prices
These coaching clinics are completely free to attend. Registration is required for each session to secure your child's spot.
You can register online or on the day of the event, but early registration is recommended due to limited availability.
