What to Expect
Experience a joyful and interactive workshop designed especially for babies and toddlers aged 2-5 years old. These sessions combine movement and sound, encouraging little ones to explore rhythm and music through percussion instruments and vocal exercises. Families will enjoy a lively environment that nurtures creativity and connection.
The workshops are led by talented artists George Tillianakis, Rosalind Stanley, and Rosell Flatley, who bring their expertise to create an accessible and fun experience. This is a wonderful opportunity for parents to engage with their children in a creative and stimulating setting.

Activity Details
The workshops run on three Tuesdays in September 2026: the 8th, 15th, and 22nd, each from 11:00 to 12:00. Each session costs $5 per family, making it an affordable way to introduce your child to the joys of music and movement.
Activities include:
- Playing percussion instruments
- Vocal exercises to encourage sound exploration
- Movement to music to develop coordination and rhythm
Suitable for toddlers aged 2-5 years and their families, these workshops are designed to be inclusive and accessible.
Location and Access
The workshops take place at The Leo Kelly Blacktown Arts Centre, located at 78 Flushcombe Rd, Blacktown, NSW 2148. The venue is family-friendly and easily accessible by public transport and car, with parking available nearby.
The arts centre provides a safe and welcoming environment, perfect for young children to explore and participate in creative activities.
Parents are encouraged to arrive a few minutes early to settle in and prepare for the session.
Important Information
Please note that the workshops are intended for children aged 2-5 years accompanied by a parent or guardian. Due to the interactive nature of the sessions, adult participation is required.
Participants should wear comfortable clothing suitable for movement and play. All percussion instruments and materials will be provided.
