The tour will introduce you to the incredible microbats that can catch up to 500 insects per hour and consume half their body weight nightly. You'll have the chance to spot these fascinating creatures and other wildlife using torches provided or your own. Light refreshments will be served at the start to make the evening comfortable and welcoming.

This event is free for Blacktown residents and suitable for children aged 5 and over, making it perfect for families looking for an educational and fun night out. Please wear comfortable enclosed shoes and appropriate clothing for an outdoor evening walk. Children must be supervised at all times to ensure a safe experience.

The tour meets at the Colebee Centre carpark, located at Knox Rd, Doonside 2767, within Nurragingy Reserve. The reserve offers a natural setting ideal for spotting wildlife and enjoying the outdoors. Directions and a map are available to help you find the meeting point easily.

Due to high demand, booking is essential. If you are unable to attend, please cancel your ticket or contact the organisers so your place can be offered to someone on the waitlist.
