Participants will use the iNaturalist app to photograph and identify species, contributing valuable data to the Elster Creek biodiversity record. Whether you're a birdwatching enthusiast or simply curious about urban wildlife, this early morning walk is perfect for all nature lovers.
Bring comfortable walking shoes, water, sun protection, and optionally binoculars and a notebook to enhance your experience.
The walk is scheduled for Saturday, 9 May 2026, from 08:30 to 09:30. Jacinta will guide the group along the canal, sharing her expertise on native species and urban ecology. This event is family-friendly and encourages hands-on learning through the iNaturalist app.
