Advance care planning is an essential topic for older adults and their carers, helping ensure your health and lifestyle decisions are respected if you become unable to communicate them yourself. This seminar offers a welcoming environment to learn and discuss these important issues.
Join a relaxed and informal discussion led by experts including a Grief and Bereavement Coordinator, a Palliative Care Project Officer, and a Healthy Ageing Advisor. You will gain a clear understanding of advance care planning, receive informative materials to take home, and have the opportunity to ask questions.
The seminar is part of National Advance Care Planning Week (16-22 March 2026) and embraces the theme "Your Story, Your Choice." Bookings are required, with each attendee needing a ticket. Morning tea will be provided to make the experience comfortable and welcoming.
Held at Menai Library, this event offers disabled access and parking facilities to ensure ease of attendance. The library is a friendly community space ideal for learning and engagement.
Please ensure you book your place in advance as spaces are limited. The seminar is funded by CESPHN - Central and Eastern Sydney Primary Health Network, highlighting its importance and community focus.
Attendance is free, but booking is essential to secure your spot. Contact Menai Library directly to reserve your ticket and for any further inquiries.
