Led by NIMA award-winning and triple j artist Djanaba, this workshop blends practical skills with creative expression. Participants will explore track selection, cueing, transitions, and set structure while learning to build energy in a live performance.
The session also delves into the personal and distinctive elements of DJing, encouraging participants to incorporate their musical influences, identity, and storytelling into their sets. No prior experience is needed, making it perfect for beginners eager to explore music performance.
This workshop is part of Randwick City Council's Town Hall Takeover, a vibrant youth program celebrating creativity across music, digital media, and multidisciplinary arts.
