Holdsworth Street Playgroup is back for Term 2, offering a vibrant and welcoming environment for young children and their families. This playgroup is designed to nurture curiosity and creativity through themed activities that engage both children and their caregivers. Whether you are new to the playgroup or returning, Term 2 promises a rich experience filled with fun and learning.

What to Expect

Each week features a unique theme designed to spark imagination and developmental growth. From exploring seasonal changes in autumn to cosmic adventures in outer space, children will enjoy stories, crafts, sensory play, and social skill development. Special events include a Mother's Day morning tea and puppet show, recognition of National Volunteer Week, and activities for World Environment Day.

Activity Details

The playgroup runs every weekday during the school term from 29 April to 4 July 2025, from 09:00 to 12:00. It caters to different age groups with tailored sessions: a playgroup for walkers to five years old featuring rhyme and story time, messy play, and crafts; a Bub Hub for newborns to non-walkers with play and discussion; and a Siblings Room for babies under 12 months with siblings under five years. Activities are designed to support early childhood development and family bonding.

The playgroup is held at 64 Holdsworth Street, Woollahra 2025. There is a nearby carpark for convenient access. The venue is welcoming and accessible, providing a safe and comfortable space for families to gather regardless of weather conditions.
