This engaging workshop is designed specifically for Year 12 students studying Legal Studies, offering a comprehensive review of the core topics of Crime and Human Rights. It provides a supportive environment where students can enhance their exam skills and confidence.
Participants will work through multiple choice, short answer, and extended response questions with guidance from an experienced facilitator. The session includes question deconstruction and modelling to help students understand how to approach different question types effectively. Students should bring a charged laptop, lunch, and a water bottle to stay comfortable and focused.
The workshop lasts for three hours and is led by Roanne, a seasoned Legal Studies teacher with over 15 years of experience, including HSC marking and leadership roles. Her teaching strategies have helped many students improve their results. This session is tailored to equip students with practical study techniques and exam strategies.
The workshop will be held at Ashfield Library, located at 260 Liverpool Street, Ashfield, NSW. The venue is wheelchair accessible with lift access from the ground floor. Participants with specific access or support needs are encouraged to inform the organizers when booking to ensure reasonable adjustments can be made.
