Each month focuses on a unique theme, sparking meaningful conversations about identity, representation, and the power of storytelling. June’s theme, Space Queers, highlights queer representation in science fiction, from starship crews to intergalactic romances.
Join fellow book lovers to share your thoughts, discover new favorites, and celebrate the vibrant world of queer literature in an inclusive and respectful environment.
The June Pride Book Club meets on Thursday, 25 June 2026, from 18:00 to 19:00. This event is suitable for attendees aged 16 years and over.
Suggested reads include titles such as "The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet" by Becky Chambers and "Gideon The Ninth" by Tamsyn Muir, among others from the Georges River Libraries Pride Collection.
Participation is free, but booking your spot is essential due to limited spaces. Late arrivals may be moved to a standby queue, and cancellations should be made at least three hours prior to the event to avoid future booking refusals.
The event takes place at Clive James Library and Service Centre, located in Kogarah Town Square on Belgrave Street, Kogarah.
