What to Expect
Dive into the vibrant world of K-pop with this exciting dance session led by O2 Dance Studios. Children will immerse themselves in Korean music, dance moves, and trends, sharing their own knowledge and enthusiasm for K-pop stars. This interactive experience combines language learning with movement, making Korean language accessible and fun.
Participants will express creativity through dance and contribute to a collaborative picture book, showcasing their artwork, writing, and photographs inspired by the session. This unique blend of culture, language, and art offers a memorable experience for young learners.
The workshop is designed for children aged 7 to 12 and encourages active participation in a supportive and lively environment.

This two-hour workshop runs from 13:30 to 15:30 on Saturday, 11 April 2026. It is hosted at the Immigration Museum and presented in partnership with Museums Victoria, supported by the Australian Government and The University of Melbourne.
The session is led by O2 Dance Studios, founded by Etienne Khoo, known for their passion for street dance and community engagement. The workshop also features contributions from artist Viet-My Bui and Associate Professor Julie Choi, enriching the cultural and educational aspects.
Please note that museum entry is not included with the workshop ticket, and booking is essential as the event is free but has limited availability.
