What to Expect

Local artists Sima Alikhani and Saqlain Binte lead engaging sessions that encourage creativity and skill development. Activity Details
The Kids' Art Club runs every Thursday from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM starting 15 October and ending 26 November 2026. October sessions focus on watercolour techniques with Sima Alikhani, while November sessions explore mixed media with Saqlain Binte Saleh.
All art materials are provided, but parents are encouraged to bring art smocks or aprons to protect clothing. Children under 9 years must be accompanied by a parent or carer, and due to COVID-19 safety measures, only one adult may accompany each child or group.
The cost is $10 per session, making it an affordable way to nurture your child's artistic talents after school.

The sessions take place at The Leo Kelly Blacktown Arts Centre, located at 78 Flushcombe Rd, Blacktown, NSW 2148. This accessible venue is well-equipped for creative workshops and offers a welcoming atmosphere for families.
There is ample parking nearby and public transport options for easy access. The centre is committed to inclusivity and accessibility for all participants.
Important Information
To ensure everyone's safety, workshop numbers are limited and social distancing measures are in place. Hand sanitiser will be available, and food or drink purchases are not currently offered on site, so please provide your child with a water bottle.
