Activity Details
The film season runs from Monday 6 April to Saturday 18 April 2026, with sessions held daily at ACMI Cinemas, Level 2, Fed Square. Each screening begins with a short curator-led introduction to key emotional intelligence concepts, setting the stage for a deeper understanding of the stories.
After the film, families can collect an activity kit designed to extend the learning and fun at home. Ticket prices are $14 for full price, $12 for concession and kids, and $9 for ACMI members, with a $1 online booking fee except for members.
Location and Access
The event takes place at ACMI Cinemas, located on Level 2 of ACMI at Federation Square, Melbourne/Naarm. ACMI is open daily from 10:00 to 17:00, with the cinema sessions accommodated within these hours.
Federation Square is easily accessible by public transport and offers family-friendly amenities. The venue acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands and waterways of greater Melbourne, the Kulin Nation, and is located on the lands of the Wurundjeri people.
Important Information
ACMI Members enjoy waived booking fees and discounted ticket prices, with free membership available to concession card holders. It is recommended to book tickets online early due to limited seating.
