Ready, steady, LEGO! Dive into an exciting after-school LEGO Club where children aged 5 to 12 can unleash their creativity and problem-solving skills. This drop-in session encourages kids to either take on a guided build challenge or follow their own imaginative designs in a relaxed, supervised setting.
Children will be provided with build prompts that inspire creativity and foster early STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) skills alongside arts. The session is designed to be engaging and fun, allowing kids to work independently or collaboratively while developing fine motor skills and spatial awareness.
The LEGO Club runs monthly at various Bayside Library branches, including Mascot Library every Wednesday from 16:00 to 17:00. Each session lasts one hour and is free of charge. The program is suitable for school-aged children, specifically those between 5 and 12 years old.
The sessions take place at Mascot Library, located at 2 Hatfield St, Mascot NSW 2020. The library is easily accessible by public transport and offers a welcoming community space for families and children.
This is a drop-in event, so no prior booking is required. Parents are welcome to stay and watch or leave their children in the care of supervising staff. The environment is safe and supportive, encouraging children to explore their creativity freely.
The LEGO Club is free to attend. No bookings are necessary, making it easy for busy parents to drop in after school and enjoy a creative hour with their children.
