Yarra Ranges Council invites residents to discuss local road management and maintenance at upcoming drop-in sessions across the region.

Engage with your local council and have your say about the roads that matter most to you. These community drop-in sessions offer a relaxed environment to ask questions, share concerns, and learn about how Yarra Ranges Council manages one of the largest road networks in the state.
At these sessions, you'll get direct access to council staff ready to provide clarity on road-related issues. Topics include how local roads are maintained, the management of unsealed roads, the Special Charge Scheme, traffic and road safety, and how to report any issues you encounter.
You'll be able to drop in anytime between 5:30pm and 7:00pm, making it easy to fit into your busy schedule. Whether you're curious about road responsibilities or want to contribute to safer streets, this is the perfect opportunity.

Registration is encouraged online to assist with catering but not mandatory. Feel free to just turn up on the night.
Each session is held at accessible community venues throughout the Yarra Ranges region. Venues are familiar local hubs, easy to reach by car or public transport.

While roads might not be the most thrilling topic, they are vital to daily life and community safety. Council manages approximately 1,764 kilometres of roads, including 694 kilometres of unsealed roads, so your input is valuable.
Sessions are designed to clarify complex road issues and responsibilities, helping residents navigate who to contact for different concerns.
Please note that these sessions are drop-in style; no formal presentations will be held, allowing for informal and flexible conversations.
Attendance is free of charge. You can register online to help with catering or simply attend without registration.
