Little Art Makers is a playful and educational weekly workshop designed to ignite creativity in children aged 3 to 5. Each session begins with an engaging storytime that sparks imagination and sets the stage for creative thinking. Children are introduced to various artworks in a fun, interactive way, helping them appreciate art from an early age.
The highlight of each workshop is the hands-on art making, where kids get messy and creative using a variety of materials under the guidance of experienced instructors. This nurturing environment encourages children to express themselves freely and confidently.
The workshops run every Wednesday during school terms with two available sessions: 9:30am to 10:30am and 11:00am to 12:00pm. Each session costs $10 per child, making it an affordable and enriching activity for young children.
The program focuses on developing fine motor skills, boosting confidence, and enhancing self-expression through art. Sensory stimulation is a key component, with activities designed to explore textures, colours, and forms.
Social interaction is encouraged, providing children the opportunity to make new friends and learn cooperation in a supportive setting.

Please note Hazelhurst will be closed for Anzac Day on Saturday 25 April and the public holiday on Monday 27 April 2026. Spaces for Little Art Makers are limited, so early booking is recommended to secure your child's spot.
Parents should prepare for a fun, potentially messy experience and dress their children accordingly. All materials are provided by the centre.
