Ignite your child's creativity with the Little Artists workshops held at the Juanita Nielsen Community Centre. These sessions are designed especially for young children aged 2 to 5 years and provide a fun, welcoming environment where imagination and artistic skills can flourish.

What to Expect

Each weekly workshop is led by a professional art educator, Sam Relihan, and combines storytelling, sensory play, and hands-on art activities. Children will enjoy exploring different art techniques while developing fine motor skills in a relaxed, playful setting. Parents, grandparents, or carers are encouraged to attend and join in the creative fun.

Activity Details

The workshops run every Thursday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 am, starting on Thursday 2025-05-22 and continuing through to Thursday 2025-06-26. Each session has a unique theme such as Sound and Noise, Line, Shape, Colour, and Making Art to Music. Spaces are limited, and bookings are essential.

Location and Access

The sessions take place in Community Room 1 at the Juanita Nielsen Community Centre, located at 31 Nicholson Street, Woolloomooloo NSW 2011. The centre is easily accessible and provides a safe and comfortable environment for young children and their carers.

Important Information

Children must be accompanied by a parent, grandparent, or carer who is encouraged to participate in the activities. The workshops are suitable for children aged 2 to 5 years. Please ensure timely arrival to make the most of the session and bring any necessary items as advised upon booking.

Booking and Prices

Tickets cost $5 per child, and this includes entry for one carer. Due to limited spaces, early booking is recommended to secure a spot. The series includes multiple sessions, and you can register for individual dates or the entire series.
