Using simple collage and hand-sewing techniques, participants will craft textile collages and then stitch them into mending patches, hanging ornaments, or bookmarks. It’s a wonderful way to encourage creativity while promoting sustainable practices through upcycling.
The session is designed for school aged children who can follow multi-step instructions and work independently for extended periods. It’s perfect for kids who enjoy hands-on activities and want to learn new crafting skills.
Basic sewing skills like threading a needle and knotting thread will be helpful but are not required, making this workshop accessible to a wide range of skill levels.
