What to Expect
Celebrate Plastic Free July by giving your soft plastics a second life in a fun and creative workshop. Led by Robyn from the upcycling shop Harold and Maude, this session invites you to craft a unique coin purse that is both fashionable and eco-friendly.
You will enjoy a relaxed, hands-on experience where creativity meets sustainability. Whether you bring your own colourful soft plastics or use the materials provided, the brighter the plastics, the more special your purse will be.
This workshop is perfect for all skill levels, so no prior experience is needed. It’s a great opportunity to learn new skills while contributing to environmental awareness.
Activity Details
During the session, you will learn how to identify and work with different types of plastic, layer materials effectively, and apply heat safely. Robyn will guide you through using templates and attaching press studs, as well as sewing a neat blanket stitch to finish your purse.
All materials are supplied, so just bring your creativity and enthusiasm. Feel free to bring your own soft plastics to personalise your project.
Registrations are essential as places are limited, ensuring a comfortable and engaging workshop environment.
