Celebrate NAIDOC Week with a creative skewer sculpture workshop for children in school years K-3 at Randwick City Library.

Celebrate NAIDOC Week by joining a fun and engaging skewer sculpture workshop designed especially for children in school years K-3. This event encourages young minds to explore Australian animals and Dreamtime stories through creative craft activities inspired by the vibrant colours of the Lands.

What to Expect

Children will enjoy a Storytime session that introduces them to the cultural significance of Australian animals in Dreamtime stories. Following this, they will use a variety of natural and craft materials to build their own skewer sculptures representing their personal stories. Basic cutting skills are needed, and adult help is encouraged to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
