This event offers a wonderful opportunity for children and parents alike to get hands-on with tree planting, enjoy live music, and participate in educational workshops designed to inspire environmental stewardship.
Kids will love the face painting and craft activities, while adults can savor delicious food and coffee in a vibrant outdoor setting. The day begins with a special Acknowledgement of Country and a Smoking Ceremony, honoring the traditional custodians of the land.
Native plants grown by local environmental volunteers will be planted to help preserve and protect the natural environment of Killcare Beach.
This family-friendly event runs from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Sunday, July 26, 2026. Activities include:

Native plants will be supplied by the Council’s Erina Depot Nursery, ensuring that your efforts contribute directly to local biodiversity.
Volunteers and participants are encouraged to respect the natural environment and follow guidance from environmental education officers throughout the day.
This is a free community event with no tickets required. Everyone is welcome to join and participate in the activities.
