After a full day in the classroom, children can unwind and reconnect with nature through Bush Magic's after-school program. This engaging experience encourages kids to move their bodies, explore their imaginations, and play freely in the fresh air surrounded by natural beauty.
Grounded in a child-led, nature-based philosophy, the program supports children in following their own interests through play while gently introducing bush-craft skills, local flora and fauna knowledge, and environmental awareness. It is a warm, inclusive community where every child is encouraged to be themselves.
Through cooperative play, storytelling, shared experiences, and hands-on activities, children build confidence, resilience, and strong social and emotional foundations—all while having a whole lot of fun in nature.
This drop-off program is designed for children aged 5 to 13 years and is NDIS-accessible, welcoming all children. Individualised support is available to ensure every child feels safe, included, and empowered to thrive.
Parents, carers, and guardians can enjoy a couple of hours to themselves while their children engage in nature-based play. Parents are also welcome to stay as long as needed to ensure their child is comfortable and happy.

The program takes place at Wollongong Botanic Garden, located at 29 Madoline Street, Keiraville. Participants should meet the Bush Magic team at the Garden's Education Centre (map reference: Q - 8).
The closest garden carpark is at 29 Madoline Street. Visitors can plan their visit with information on public transport, parking, and maps available on the Wollongong Botanic Garden website.
Cancellations by Bush Magic Adventure Therapy will result in a credit for another session of equal value. If a session is delayed, paused, or canceled after starting due to weather or safety concerns, no refund or credit is available.
No refunds are offered for absences due to illness, change of mind, or other reasons. A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to receive a credit for missed bookings, and 48 hours' notice is required for NDIS bookings to avoid fees.
Credits can only be used within the same term for a similar program.
