What to Expect
Immerse yourself in nature and community spirit by volunteering for the Old Tramline Parkcare program. This is a wonderful opportunity for families to connect with the environment and help enhance local green spaces. The park, located along a historic tram route, offers a peaceful setting perfect for a morning of outdoor activity.
Volunteers will engage in hands-on tasks such as pruning vegetation and mulching garden beds, contributing directly to the health and beauty of the park. It's a rewarding way to spend time outdoors with your children, teaching them about local plants and the importance of habitat conservation.
Expect to meet like-minded community members and Council's Bushcare officer who will guide you through the activities and provide all necessary tools and support.
