Celebrate Bright Spark's birthday in a lively and inclusive event designed especially for families with children aged 0 to 5 years. This joyful gathering features music, singing, craft, play, and most importantly, story reading to spark your child's imagination and love for books.
Enjoy a special Didgeridoo (Yadiki) performance that introduces children to Aboriginal culture through captivating sounds. Bright Spark will be joined by mascot friends including Agi, Black and Yellow, Bangu, and Billy Backpack, adding extra fun and excitement.
Fill up your activity passport by participating in Aboriginal craft activities and receive a goodie bag containing a children's book. Plus, enter the draw to win exciting prizes, making this event a memorable experience for the whole family.
This free event runs from 09:30 to 11:30 on Thursday, 7 May 2026, at the top of the escalators in Dapto Mall, Moombara Street. An Auslan interpreter will be present to ensure the event is accessible and inclusive for all attendees.
The event is tailored for families with young children, providing a safe and welcoming environment to enjoy creative activities and storytelling. The inclusion of Aboriginal cultural elements offers a unique educational opportunity for children to learn about and respect Indigenous heritage.
