Immerse your children in the vibrant colours of spring with our Park Arts program. This engaging day invites young explorers to connect with nature through creative outdoor activities inspired by the season's beauty. Your child will enjoy guided walks to discover the textures, patterns, and colours of the natural world.
They will then use found natural materials to craft ephemeral art, nature prints, clay creations, and simple bushcraft artworks. This hands-on experience encourages imagination and a deep appreciation for the environment.
It's a colourful day filled with creativity, discovery, and outdoor fun that young artists will adore.
This program is designed specifically for children aged 5 to 12 years. Activities include:
- Guided nature walks focusing on seasonal changes
- Creating art using natural materials found in the park
- Making nature prints and clay artworks
- Simple bushcraft projects to engage with the environment
The event runs from 8:00 to 16:00 on two Thursdays, providing a full day of immersive learning and fun.
