What to Expect
Discover the joy of making your own pasta from scratch in this hands-on workshop designed for families and individuals passionate about reducing plastic waste. Pasta is often wrapped in single-use plastics, but here you’ll learn practical skills to create fresh, plastic-free pasta at home.
The workshop includes a cooking demonstration on making ricotta cheese from scratch, adding a delicious homemade touch to your meals. After the class, enjoy a sit-down lunch featuring three tasty pasta sauces, sourdough bread, caprese salad, fruit platters, and refreshing Italian lemonade.
Participants will also receive their own apron to take home, making this an engaging and memorable experience for all ages.
Activity Details
This interactive session runs from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, followed by lunch until approximately 1:30 PM. You will learn to make five different pasta shapes, enhancing your culinary skills and inspiring creativity in the kitchen.
The workshop is family-friendly and scheduled during the school holidays, encouraging parents and children to join together. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
