Activity Details
The program runs weekly every Friday from 09:00 to 12:30, starting from July 17, 2026, until December 18, 2026. Activities include planting seasonal vegetables and flowers, weeding garden beds, and learning composting techniques to reduce waste.
Participants will receive guidance from experienced community gardeners who provide tips on sustainable gardening practices and environmental stewardship.
This is a free community initiative aimed at promoting environmental awareness and healthy outdoor activity for all ages.
Location and Access
Sessions take place at the Randwick Sustainability Hub, located at 27 Munda Street, Randwick. The venue is accessible by public transport and offers a safe, family-friendly environment.
There is ample space for children to explore and participate safely under parental supervision. The hub is well-equipped with gardening tools and facilities to support all activities.
Parking and bike racks are available nearby, making it convenient for families coming from different parts of Randwick.
Important Information
Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor gardening and bring a hat and water bottle to stay hydrated.
All gardening tools and materials are provided, but feel free to bring your own gloves if preferred.
Bookings are managed through Humanitix, an external platform; please review their privacy policy when registering.
The program is weather dependent; in case of extreme weather, sessions may be rescheduled or canceled with prior notice.
