What to Expect
Set sail on an exciting journey with Pirate Pete and his trusty companion Paddy the Parrot as they explore the world of recycling and sustainability. This engaging adventure is designed for children and families to discover practical ways to help the environment while having fun.
Kids will be captivated by Pirate Pete's stories and activities that highlight the importance of better recycling habits and sustainable living. It's a perfect opportunity to inspire young minds to care for our planet.
Expect an interactive session filled with learning, laughter, and hands-on experiences that encourage positive environmental behaviours.
Activity Details
This workshop runs for one hour, including a 10-minute arrival and 10-minute pack-up time. It is suitable for children accompanied by their guardians, who must remain on site throughout the event.
The program is free of charge and requires prior registration to secure a spot. Spaces are limited to one registration per person per day to ensure a quality experience for all attendees.
Please note that the facilitators maintain a respectful and positive environment, and any inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the program.
Location and Access
The event takes place at Wetherill Park Library, located at 561-583 Polding Street, Wetherill Park 2164 NSW. The library is easily accessible by public transport and offers a welcoming space for families.
Parking is available nearby, and the venue is suitable for children and guardians to comfortably participate in the activities.
For those not yet members, library membership is recommended and free, providing access to a wide range of resources and future programs.
Important Information
Guardians must be at least 16 years old and stay on the premises for the duration of the program if children are under 12.
Photography may occur during the event for promotional purposes; please inform staff if you do not consent.
In case of illness or COVID-19 symptoms, attendees are kindly asked to refrain from attending to ensure everyone's safety.
Workshops may be rescheduled or cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances; registrants will be notified promptly.
Booking and Prices
Registration is required via Eventbrite, with a limit of one registration per person per day. Please cancel your booking if unable to attend to free up spots for others.
