Dive into the exciting world of game design with Pixel Pathways, where children aged 8-12 can create their own maze runner games using fun retro 8-bit graphics. This engaging workshop introduces young learners to coding concepts through block coding, Python, or JavaScript, making STEM learning interactive and enjoyable.
Participants will develop a stronger understanding of the Cartesian plane and integers by positioning characters, obstacles, and movement rules within a coordinate-based game world. The session encourages creativity and problem-solving as kids bring their game ideas to life.
After building their games, children will have the opportunity to explore each other's creations and receive constructive feedback to help them continue developing their interactive media skills.
