Start with an engaging introductory paragraph
Ready for Maths is a lively, hands-on family workshop that introduces early numeracy and STEM concepts to children ages 3-5 while supporting parents and carers with practical tips. Held at Marrickville Library, this session blends playful learning with everyday maths so preschoolers can build confidence and curiosity.
Over the hour children will explore sorting, patterns, shapes and simple engineering tasks guided by Little Scientists facilitators. Parents will leave with clear strategies to bring STEM and early numeracy activities into the home, making learning feel natural and fun for busy families.
Little Scientists champions inquiry-based STEM education and works with Inner West Council Libraries to deliver family-friendly learning experiences. Please note photography may be taken; if you have access or privacy needs, include them in your booking so the team can accommodate you.
