Introduce your little ones to the enchanting world of live classical music with Ready, Set, Listen! The Planets. This 30-minute interactive concert features the Sydney Symphony Orchestra performing Holst’s iconic The Planets, arranged for a small ensemble. Children will be captivated by memorable melodies and dramatic moments that bring the solar system to life.
Designed specifically for children aged 0–5, this event encourages active listening and movement in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Families can enjoy comfortable floor seating, allowing children to sit, listen, and move freely as they explore the magic of music.
This is the perfect first concert experience to ignite your child’s imagination and foster a lifelong love of music.
The performance runs for approximately 30 minutes and features music arranged by Tim Hansen alongside children’s entertainer Emily Who. The Sydney Symphony Orchestra’s extraordinary musicians bring this beloved classical piece to life in an engaging and accessible format for young audiences.
Please note that all attendees, including adults and children, require a ticket. The event is designed for babies and young children aged 0–5 years. Children under 15 must be accompanied at all times.
The event is unreserved seating (general admission), so families can choose their preferred spot on the floor seating area.
