Led by Ella Boyen from Chooktopia, the 60-minute workshop blends demonstration and hands-on practice. The presenter has practical experience and explains techniques in a straightforward, parent-friendly way.

This is suitable for expectant parents, carers and families with babies or toddlers who are curious about making the switch. Bring questions about routines, nappy brands and sustainability — the session is designed to be interactive.

Boroondara residents attending will be eligible to receive a complimentary reusable nappy to get started and entry into a draw for a nappy pack. Registrations are essential and spaces are limited, so booking early is recommended.

The workshop is held at Canterbury Community Precinct, 2 Kendall Street, Canterbury VIC 3126, a community-friendly venue with accessible facilities and nearby public transport. It’s a short walk from local tram and bus stops, making drop-offs straightforward for families.

There is limited onsite parking; consider carpooling or using public transport if you can. The precinct is pram-accessible and has baby change facilities to make attending with an infant easier.
