Dive into the exciting world of robotics with Lego Spike Prime, where your child can code, build, and challenge their robotic skills. This club is designed for independent learners aged 8 years and above who are eager to explore STEM in a fun and interactive way.
Each session encourages creativity and problem-solving, allowing children to develop their technical skills while having a blast. Guardians are welcome to stay nearby, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
Bookings are essential for each child, and spaces are limited to maintain an engaging and hands-on experience.
The Robotics Club runs over four weekly sessions, each lasting 1.5 hours from 16 July to 6 August 2026. Participants will work with Lego Spike Prime kits to code and build robots, enhancing their understanding of robotics and programming.
This activity is perfect for school-aged children who have a curiosity for technology and enjoy hands-on learning. It requires children to be independent learners to get the most out of the sessions.
Please ensure to book a ticket for each child attending and cancel if unable to participate to allow others to join.
The sessions take place at Balwyn Library, located at 336 Whitehorse Road, Balwyn VIC 3103. The venue is fully accessible and family-friendly.
The library offers a welcoming space with easy access to public transport and parking options nearby. Guardians are asked to remain in the vicinity during the sessions for safety.
Balwyn Library also hosts a variety of children’s programs and literacy resources, making it a hub for family learning and community engagement.
Children must be aged 8 years or older and able to work independently to participate fully in the Robotics Club.
Guardians are required to stay close to the library during the sessions but do not need to participate directly.
Booking is mandatory due to limited spaces, so early registration is recommended. Please cancel if your child cannot attend to free up spots for others.
