What to Expect
Each session features exciting activities such as working with robots, circuits, 3D printing, coding, and science experiments. These workshops are designed to encourage practical, playful learning and foster a love of discovery. Your child will work alongside you in a supportive environment that nurtures creativity and exploration.
Activity Details
- Suitable for children aged 8 to 12 years only.
- One adult must accompany each child during the session.
- Sessions run from 14:00 to 15:30 every second Saturday.
- Monthly themes include DNA extraction, Ozobots coding, digital microscopes, biology, engineering, and more.
Location and Access
The sessions take place at The Learning Space, located within the City of Canada Bay area. This accessible venue provides a welcoming environment for families to engage in STEM learning together. Parking and public transport options are available nearby, making it easy to attend.
Important Information
Please note that photos and videos may be taken during the event and shared on the library's and Council's communication channels. Notify staff if you prefer not to be included. To ensure safety and enjoyment, children outside the specified age range will not be admitted. Booking is essential due to limited capacity.
Booking and Prices
All Saturday Create workshops are free of charge. To allow as many families as possible to participate, please book only one session per month. Bookings can be made via the City of Canada Bay Council website or by contacting the library directly.
