What to Expect
Unleash your child's inner printmaker in this engaging three-hour school holiday workshop designed specifically for beginners aged 10 to 13. Kids will learn the art of block printing by sketching, carving, and inking their own unique designs. This hands-on experience encourages creativity and provides a fantastic introduction to printmaking techniques.
Throughout the session, participants will create a custom stamp from soft carving rubber, experiment with vibrant fabric inks, and produce bold prints on paper. They will also have the opportunity to stamp their design onto a sturdy cotton tote bag, or bring along a plain T-shirt for an extra print.
This workshop is perfect for young creatives looking to explore a new artistic skill and take home their own handmade creations, including their carved block, tote bag, and a stack of prints.
