This school holiday workshop invites children to explore the art of hand-building clay animals in a relaxed and supportive environment. Kids will have the chance to create their own clay pets, from dogs and cats to rabbits and more, using simple pinch-pot techniques.
They will enjoy adding expressive faces, textured details, and unique features with various surface treatments, making each creation truly one-of-a-kind. This workshop is perfect for beginners and encourages experimentation with pressing, rolling, stamping, and sgraffito decoration.
The small class size ensures personalized attention, making it an ideal introduction to ceramics for young artists.
The workshop runs on Tuesday, 14 April 2026, from 09:00 to 11:30. It is designed specifically for children aged 7 to 10 years and requires no prior experience.
Participants should wear comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes, and bring themselves, a snack, and an apron. All other materials are provided.
Finished works will be fired and ready for collection approximately four weeks after the course.
