Led by Dharug woman Rhiannon Wright, the session encourages artistic confidence and curiosity in young participants. It’s a perfect opportunity for kids to develop fine motor skills and connect with Indigenous heritage.
Parents and guardians are welcome to stay on site, providing support to younger children as needed, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for all.
This one-hour workshop runs from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM and is designed for children aged 6 years and older. Younger children may require some assistance from a parent or guardian.
Participants will use detailed scratch art techniques to reveal colourful images beneath the surface, creating beautiful representations of native animals and bush scenes.

The museum is open Tuesday to Friday from 10 AM to 4 PM and Saturdays from 10 AM to 3 PM, closed on Sundays, Mondays, and public holidays.
