Skate Jam at Gosnells Skate Park offers a fantastic opportunity for young people to enjoy a safe, supervised environment where they can skate, scooter, or BMX with friends and youth workers. This drop-in style program encourages community connection, physical activity, and fun in a vibrant outdoor setting.
Participants can bring their own skateboards, scooters, or BMX bikes, or use the equipment provided by the youth workers, including helmets. The sessions are lively and inclusive, featuring music, snacks, and additional sports equipment to keep everyone engaged. Youth workers are present to supervise and support all attendees.
Skate Jam sessions run multiple days a week during school terms and holidays, specifically on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 14:30 to 17:30 at Gosnells Skate Park. The program is free, open to all ages, and does not require registration, making it easy for families to drop in whenever it suits their schedule.
The event takes place at Gosnells Skate Park, located at 99 Ashburton Drive, Gosnells WA 6110. The park is accessible and provides a welcoming space for children and teenagers to develop their skills and socialize in a safe environment.
Skate Jam sessions do not operate on Western Australian public holidays. Participants are encouraged not to attend if unwell to maintain the health and safety of all.
