Skate Jam is a vibrant, community-focused event where young people can enjoy skating in a safe, supervised environment. Whether you bring your own skateboard, scooter, or BMX, or use the equipment provided, there’s something for everyone. Youth Workers are on hand to support and engage with participants, ensuring a fun and inclusive atmosphere.
The sessions also feature additional sports equipment, music, chairs, and snacks, creating a lively and welcoming space for kids and families to connect and enjoy active play. No registration is required, making it easy to drop in and join the fun.
This event is perfect for children and teenagers who love skating or want to try it out in a friendly, supportive setting.
Skate Jam sessions at Mills Park Skate Plaza run weekly on Wednesdays from 18:00 to 20:00. The program is open to all ages and caters to skateboard, scooter, and BMX riders. Participants can bring their own gear or use the equipment provided by Youth Workers.
The event is free of charge and part of the City of Gosnells’ Youth and Families initiatives. It is designed to encourage physical activity, social interaction, and skill development in a safe environment.
Please note that Skate Jam does not operate on Western Australian public holidays, and attendance is subject to health and safety protocols.
Mills Park Skate Plaza is located at 86 Brixton Street, Beckenham WA 6110. The skate park is easily accessible by car and public transport, with ample space for participants and families to gather.
