What to Expect
Participants can expect engaging weekly rehearsals led by professional musicians who guide and support every step of the musical journey. Whether beginners or experienced players, all are encouraged to explore and enjoy making music together. The sessions emphasize connection, creativity, and confidence building.
Activity Details
- Suitable for students in Year 7 through Year 10.
- Year 7-8 sessions start at 17:30.
- Year 9-10 sessions start at 18:15.
- Participants are encouraged to bring their own instruments if they have one.
- The program runs weekly on Tuesdays from 10 February 2026 through 31 March 2026.
Location and Access
The program takes place at Oxygen Youth Space, located at 4 - 8 Gaffney Street, Coburg North. It is easily accessible by public transport:
- A 1-minute walk from the #37 tram stop at Gaffney Street/Sydney Road.
- A 5-minute walk from Batman train station on the Upfield line.
