What to Expect
Dive into a fun and inspiring workshop designed for children aged 10 and above who love to get crafty. This session encourages creativity by transforming old clothing into unique wearable art through drawing, painting, and decorating. It’s a perfect way to breathe new life into items you might otherwise throw away.
You’ll explore various materials and techniques including making jewellery with clay, creating prints using natural items like sticks, leaves, and flowers, and crafting beautiful watercolour gift cards. This engaging experience is ideal for children who enjoy hands-on activities and want to express themselves artistically.
The workshop is facilitated by Marietta Zafirakos, a Sydney-based creative producer with a passion for art-making and family-friendly workshops. She brings her expertise in print media and arts administration to create a welcoming and inspiring environment.
