The classes cover a comprehensive range of topics including managing labour and birth, induction, possible complications, and emergency procedures. For those planning a caesarean birth, a dedicated class addresses what to expect during the procedure and early parenting. You will also learn about newborn care, breastfeeding, safe sleeping, emotional wellbeing, and community support options.
Choose between a full weekend class or a one-day caesarean birth class. Weekend classes run Saturday from 08:15 to 16:00 and Sunday from 08:30 to 15:00. Caesarean classes are held on Saturdays from 08:15 to 16:00. It is recommended to book 4-6 weeks before your due date to keep information fresh. Each ticket includes attendance for you and your partner or support person.
