Attend engaging sessions that cover managing labour and birth, including assisted and emergency caesarean births, induction of labour, and possible complications. For those planning a caesarean birth, a dedicated class covers what to expect, newborn characteristics, and maternity ward stay.
Choose between a full weekend class or a one-day caesarean-focused session. Weekend classes run Saturday 8:15 to 16:00 and Sunday 8:30 to 15:00, while caesarean classes are Saturdays from 8:15 to 16:00. Topics include breastfeeding, safe sleeping, emotional wellbeing, sleep and settling, and community support resources.
Classes take place at 22-36 Scott St, Toowoomba City QLD 4350, a convenient location in the heart of Toowoomba. The venue is accessible and welcoming, ensuring a comfortable learning environment for parents and their support persons.
Booking one ticket covers attendance for both the parent and their partner or support person. It is recommended to book 4-6 weeks before the due date to keep information fresh.
