These classes cover a range of essential topics including managing labour and birth, induction, possible complications, and emergency caesarean birth. For those planning a caesarean, a dedicated class covers what to expect with elective caesarean birth, newborn characteristics, breastfeeding, safe sleeping, and emotional wellbeing.
- Labour, birth and early parenting weekend class: Saturday 08:15 to 16:00, Sunday 08:30 to 15:00.
- Caesarean birth and early parenting class: Saturday only, 08:15 to 16:00.
Classes are recommended to be booked 4-6 weeks before your due date to keep information fresh.
Held at St Vincent's Private Hospital Toowoomba, 22-36 Scott St, Toowoomba City QLD 4350. The venue is accessible and centrally located, making it easy for local families to attend.
