Dive into an exciting STEM adventure designed for children aged 8 to 12. This session focuses on the fascinating behaviour of air as it moves around curved surfaces, sparking curiosity and scientific thinking.
Kids will get hands-on experience constructing their very own "remark-a-ball" Airball Basketball game to take home, blending creativity with science.
This is a perfect opportunity for young minds to engage in discovery and practical learning in a supportive and fun environment.
The workshop runs for one hour, from 16:00 to 17:00 on Wednesday, 11 March 2026. All materials and equipment are provided, so children can fully immerse themselves without needing to bring anything.
Parents of children aged 10 and under must stay in the library during the session, ensuring safety and support. A 1:4 parent-to-child ratio is maintained for supervision.
Please arrive on time; late arrivals beyond 10 minutes may lose their spot to standby attendees. Cancellation at least 3 hours prior is appreciated to allow others to attend.
The event takes place at Penshurst Library, located at 630 Forest Road, Penshurst. This accessible venue is well-equipped to welcome families and children.
