What to Expect
Dive into a creative workshop designed especially for children aged 9 to 14, inspired by the Architecture of Feeling exhibition. Participants will engage with contemporary art by sketching still life ceramic forms and experimenting with mixed-media collage techniques. The workshop also explores the unique blue-and-white style of artist Danie Mellor, where children create their own expressive blue biro artworks.

Activity Details
The workshop runs from 10:00 to 15:00 on Thursday, 16 April 2026, providing a full day of immersive art activities. Children will start by sketching Kirsten Coelho’s ceramic forms, then transform their drawings into layered mixed-media collages. Later, they will explore Danie Mellor’s signature blue-and-white style to create their own blue biro artwork.
Bookings are essential and can be made via Eventbrite. The cost is $59.26 per participant, covering all materials and instruction.
