Step back in time as you explore the oldest roundhouse in NSW, showcasing 112 years of rail history. Children and adults alike will delight in climbing aboard vintage locomotives and carriages with authentic steps leading to doorways. Discover detailed model railways, including one depicting Valley Heights in the 1950s, and browse a collection of railway art and small exhibits.
Your admission includes a memorable 15-minute ride aboard the Valley Heights Mixed, featuring a diesel locomotive from 1963 pulling an 1890s-style cowboy carriage. Light refreshments such as gourmet sandwiches, pies, sausage rolls, lamingtons, tea, and coffee are available to enjoy in the café.
