Experience a delightful morning of pastel painting combined with engaging learning about local wildlife and natural habitats. This activity is designed for children aged 5 to 9 years and encourages parental participation to enhance the experience.
You and your children will enjoy creating pastel drawings of local wildlife guided by artist Andrea Alembakis. Alongside this creative session, NSW Scientist Dr Joseph DiBattista will provide insightful and interactive information about the park's freshwater creek and forest ecosystem. The event is designed to be both fun and educational, fostering a connection with nature.
The session lasts 1.5 hours and requires parental supervision throughout. It is recommended for children aged 5 to 9 years. Participants should bring sunscreen, a hat, and water bottles to stay comfortable, especially if the group moves into outdoor play spaces. This event is proudly supported by Woollahra Council’s Grants Program.
The activity takes place at Cooper Park Community Hall, located at 12 Cooper Park Road, Bellevue Hill 2023. Free street parking is available nearby, making it convenient for families to attend. The venue is accessible and situated within a lovely park setting.
