The concert begins with talented student musicians from the Symphony for Life Foundation, showcasing their skills alongside Sydney Symphony members. Following this, the Sydney Symphony Orchestra takes the stage to perform a captivating program of classical masterpieces.
This event is designed to be inclusive and welcoming for all ages, with free entry for children aged 5 and under. It’s a wonderful way to introduce your children to the joy of live orchestral music in a relaxed and friendly environment.
Activity Details
The gates open at 17:00, allowing plenty of time to find a comfortable spot and enjoy the atmosphere. The student performances start at 17:30, featuring engaging pieces such as "Animals of the Orchestra" and "Sailor’s Dance." The Sydney Symphony Orchestra begins their set at 18:30, performing iconic works including Mozart’s "The Marriage of Figaro" overture and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 first movement.
Tickets are priced at $5 per person plus a booking fee, with all proceeds supporting a local charity. This affordable pricing makes it accessible for families looking for a special cultural outing without breaking the bank.
