Come and “hit it off” with friends at our weekly Table Tennis For Fun sessions. These gatherings offer a fantastic opportunity to engage in a low-impact sport that’s both social and enjoyable for the whole family.
Join fellow library members for friendly matches played in a round robin style. Paddles and balls are provided by the library staff on a first-come, first-served basis, so just bring your enthusiasm and get ready to have fun. No experience or bookings are necessary, making it an easy and welcoming activity for everyone.

- Free for library members only
- Note: No sessions on public holidays as the library will be closed
The event takes place at Lionel Bowen Library, located at 669-673 Anzac Parade, Maroubra. Participants can catch the lift to level 3 of the library and community centre. The venue is committed to accessibility and inclusivity, so if you have any access requirements, please contact the library to arrange support.
All players must be library members and sign in at the library on level 1 before playing. Covid-19 safety measures are in place, and participants agree to comply with all terms and conditions. Sessions are designed to be safe and enjoyable for everyone, with a focus on community health.
